We are looking for 80 students residing in Pittsburgh’s subsidized housing to receive a top-level music education at little to no cost. AAMI and PJO will provide musicial education and instruments for these students.
About the PJOYouth Future All-Stars
Students accepted to the PJOYouth Future All Stars receive an extensive musical education starting at a young age. Tuition varies between $80 and $320 for 32 weeks, depending on age and program.
First year recruitment for the PJO Youth Future All-Stars includes:
Group Class (Eurhythmics) - $80 per year / $2.5 per week
25 students between 3 years old and Kindergarten
25 students in first or second grade
Full curriculum - $320 per year / $10 per week
No experience necessary, instrument or practice space provided,
6 students (grade 3 or 4) for full curriculum on guitar
6 students (grade 3 or 4) for full curriculum on bass
6 students (grade 3 or 4) for full curriculum on piano
6 students (grade 3 or 4) for full curriculum on percussion
6 students (grade 3 or 4) for full curriculum on voice
Students will be selected based on recommendations from educators and community leaders.

Families interested in participation in the Future All-Stars program should begin with a call or email to Chris Bromley, executive director of Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra.
Students will be enrolled in the program based on the order in which completed application materials are received.
